I recently stayed at the Gower Bungalow in The Mumbles for a short getaway. The local area is stunning and the hospitality locally is second to none. The bungalow itself had everything I needed for my stay and was well kitted-out. I particularly enjoyed the various spots for soaking up the sun. The location was also really handy, not right in town but close enough to the Coastal Path and the Mumbles.
I would recommend this hotel.

The location of the bungalow was lovely, with good views and close proximity to the Mumbles. It was easy to find and had a parking space available. The bungalow provided lots of information to make the stay easy, and there was even a surprise bottle of wine left on arrival, a nice touch.
The heating in the bungalow was inadequate, with plug-in heaters giving out no heat at all. Additionally, the bungalow lacked a salt and pepper pot, and there was no proper vacuum attachment provided for cleaning before departure.

The bathroom had a good mix of both a bath and a shower, which was perfect for me because sometimes I like a relaxing soak and other times I just want a quick wash. It gave me the flexibility to choose what I needed based on my mood.
I must admit that I wasn't a big fan of the bathroom towels. They were a bit thin for my liking, but hey, everyone has different preferences, right?

The local area is absolutely stunning, with jaw-dropping scenery and second-to-none hospitality. The bungalow is well-equipped, making it perfect for short or longer stays. The thoughtful welcome gifts of wine and cookies were super appreciated after a long drive. Having a parking space was also a great convenience. The location is ideal, not too far from the Mumbles, and close to the Coastal Path for amazing hikes. The outdoor seating area was a fantastic spot to soak up the sun. The added bonus of a cafetière made my mornings even better. With a bus stop nearby, we hardly needed to use our car, making exploring the area a breeze. We enjoyed the walk down the coast to Mumbles and made sure to visit Clyne Gardens and the Mumbles Hill Nature Reserve, which were both mind-blowing. our stay was absolutely smashing and perfect for my 70th birthday celebration. Definitely recommend!

Lovely little bungalow tucked away with a useful outside seating area. The bottle of wine and cookies on arrival were a nice touch after a long drive. Having a parking space at the property was also a plus.
The bungalow was expensive for what we got, with radiators and electric heaters in every room. The description was not accurate, with dirty nets and outside cushions in a moldy bin.

We had a great value for our money at the bungalow. The room was well-equipped and had a lovely outside seating area. The location was perfect, close to the coast and with easy access to the bus stop. The hospitality in the local area was outstanding.
Breakfast delights: It would have been nice to have salt and pepper pots available in the kitchen.

The value for money at this hidden gem was excellent. The room was cozy and well-equipped, with a lovely outside seating area to enjoy. The location was convenient, with easy access to the Mumbles and the Coastal Path. The staff were friendly and even left a bottle of wine as a welcome gift.
The only breakfast option could be improved with more condiments available, such as a salt and pepper pot.
